Plant pairings with Hydrangeas

RG100

Hello

I have 5 Hydrangeas planted together in the front of my house. There are 3 endless summer flanked by an Annabelle on each side. I usually plant some annuals in the front bed but these annuals take a long time to grow and so there are days when the hydrangeas look great - tall and covered with flowers but with tiny annuals in front.

Can anyone make any suggestions - the bed gets a lot of sun so it doesnt have to be just hostas. I would prefer perennials.

Also these hydrangeas are really close together - should I try to move them apart or just let it be?

Thanks for your help.
