I don't know what it is - I assume an old species from decades ago. Whatever it is, it turns not a light lime green, but more of a dingy army green tinged with brown. Not buff or light brown.

It could be water or lack of has something to do with it - but I dont know. It hasnt been drought like previous years- a little rain a few times a week.

Can you post a photo? that might give us a clue as to a more specific type of hydrangea and possibly lead to a better answer to your question.

If you don't like it, replace it with one you do.

I ordered this through the mail. It said it was a Hydrangea tree. The blooms are very strange. Can you tell me anything about this?
