That is definitely a hydrangea. I'm not an expert on all the varieties but it looks like my Pink Diamond --- but then I know Tardiva looks similar to this as well. Others will weigh in. These are great plants!

It does not seem to have panicled blooms so I do not think it is PD or Tardiva. A lacecap. Where did you buy it at? It looks very nice and happy.

It's a paniculata indeed, but to name it by this picture is virtualy impossible.

Huh? They certainly do look panicled, just not fully opened and a little small - this is probably a young plant. It does not look like a lacecap to me. Fanelda, can you take another shot in a week or two and we can weigh in again?

Depends on when the photo was taken.

Out here, the only paniculata hydrangea in full bloom right now is 'Quick Fire', followed by 'Angel's Blush' soon enough (oh, and 'Phantom'). Then 'Pinky Winky'. After that is 'Limelight'. 'Unique' and 'Pink Diamondâ are the last to bloom here (I don't have Tardiva and PeeGee).
