Neglected to add -- rig some temporary shade to help them through the transition period while they're rooting into the ground.

Let me ask you guys a few more questions ..

Would it be better if I dug them up and waited until fall to plant them out here? I could put them on the patio in pots and control the sun they get. Or would that just cause them more stress? If I rig something for shade, how much shade would they need?

Also .. Should these plants be moved to a part shade position? I did a lot of reading before I planted them and it seems like everything said sun would be fine, the flowers would just progress from lime to white faster. I'd really like to keep them in this space, it's in front of our side fence and I'd like these plants to grow up into a hedge. I don't want to keep them here to the detriment of the plants though.

Mine are on the north side of my house and receive the late day summer sun from the west and they do very well. In fact they do so well, they are huge and have outgrown their space.
