hydrangea leaf scorch

kirag

My endless summer hydrangeas got some brown leaf scorch due to an incredibly hot summer day. I am wondering what to do now? They are already in part shade, I don't think location is the problem. They are newly planted and as such I had watered them in the morning, I think perhaps the leaves may have been wet which also contributed to the heat scorch. I live in Colorado, and we have very crazy weather that can be overcast and cool one day, and 95 with intense sun and wind the next, which is what happened to my poor hydrangeas. I am wondering if I should trim off the scorched leaves, or just leave the plant alone?
