Can't believe they threw out the beautiful blooms! I decided to prune my overgrown big leaf today. I didn't prune last year and it's just not looking great (although was covered in blooms this year!) I wanted to get a good prune in before August so I wouldn't affect next year's buds, and since the last rainstorm sent most of the blooms to the ground, the shrub itself was looking pretty sad. I must have pruned off close to 100 blooms. I gathered up all of the good ones, trimmed the leaves, made them into bouquets and delivered them to the neighbors today (made a couple centerpieces for myself of course!)

Hi Everyone, This is just as update on the hydrangeas I found at the dump, I rooted 3 of them and 2 of them have taken.....

and here are a few more of the 30 cuttings that we potted up today... so I hope some of you out there are also having success!!
