Hydrangea 'Nightingale' (Nachtigall)' color

Hi. I'm thinking of purchasing a Nightingale Hydrangea. My question is what color does the flower fade to and when does that begin to happen? I was thinking of planting it near a crape myrtle tree that flowers from late July through early September here on Long Island, and it would be nice if it was still blue during that timeframe.
Thanks in advance.
Bruce

It's very showy hydrangea in prime time (vivid blue), but absolutely not interesting in a past-prime time.
I'm across the Sound from you and by the end of July I'm trying not to look in her direction :-(
