I have a friend who planted 5 hydrangea many many yrs ago. they were mail order. they are on the west side (full sun) of her house. every year they bloom a light green late in the year. I used her dried blooms in my daughters wedding in October. I have planted umerous hydrangeas and NEVER had one return the following year. any suggestions would be appreciated. thx. I LOVE hydrangeas. AND what about the west - is this a fluke????? I thought they were also shade loving
