So far, I have found 'Invincibelle Spirit' very underwhelming.

I bought two of these as two gallon plants back in April to put into a landscape renewal along the side of my house. They have grown well and are getting to be a decent size, and have had several dozen blooms each.

I am just underwhelmed at the blooms. So far, rather small, the largest being perhaps the size of a grapefruit, and they go from a strange magenta tone to a washed out, muddy pink with green overtones quickly. Most are heads are considerably smaller than a grapefruit, more like tennis ball size.

Being new, I'm sure they need at least a whole season to establish, so I'll be anxious to see how they do next year. But so far, they don't seem to live up to the images I see online.

Anyone else here who has tried them have any feelings about their experience with this variety so far?

I saw this one and Bella Anna side by side at a plant nursery. The blooms from both shrubs were slightly bigger than "a tennis ball size" but I expected them to get larger in time. However, IS's shade of pink did not click for me. Bella Anna actually had a nicer pink or so I remember. I did not get Bella Anna either because it had sold out when I returned back to the nursery.

BA is a bit better but not by a whole lot. I will reiterate it looks much better planted next to regular Annabelles and not by itself.

I saw a great looking pink annabelle. I don't know what kind it was, but it was light pink and the flower were small, but the color was outstanding and they were not sagging. I wish I took a photo of it, but I did not have my camera with me.

So, I looked at Invincibelle Spirit and maybe I am a terrible person, but why does everything that is pink have to be about breast cancer? I don't want to think about cancer. My husband has cancer. I don't want to be reminded of cancer each time I look at a flower. Therefore, I will not get this Invincibelle Spirit. I wish the one I saw was different. The light pink is nicer then the color on the website which is too dark. Just look up the website, I am not posting the link.

I really like incrediball. Mine is doing great. The flowers are huge and don't sag. I don't care so much if the flowers are big if they don't sag and are a nice color.
