drooping hydrangea

I have a hydrangea that said it would take full sun in the Alabama area. I planted in a 4 ft dia. x 12" deep bed. It grew nicely, loaded with white blossoms, was 3 ft high x 4 ft dia. Nice green leaves. Then all of a sudden, it all drooped down to within 12 inches of the ground. It still has plenty of blooms but won't stand upright. I have a soaker hose supplying it with water and the ground is moist. Any ideas?
