I made a stupid mistake and I decided to post it here for some advice. I found out my small 1' tall hydrangea has been infected with mildew for a while - half of the leaves have brown spots. I quickly did some research and knew that sulfur worked so I grab my bag of lime sulfur particles used for acidifying the plant and mix some with water and pour slowly onto the leaves. Now I found out the sulfur used as fungicide is a totally different thing. I just bought neem oil online a minute ago but what shall be the next step? the leaves are now coated with a white dusty layer of lime sulfur. I also heard neem oil shouldn't be applied 2 weeks after sulfur was used, but mine obviously isn't the sulfur fungicide the information is referring to, so can I wash away the sulfur and apply neem oil?
