I have an Endless Summer hydrangea and have had good luck with it.. The main thing is in the spring to watch it for late frosts. One time it zapped my buds so no flowers that year. I have covered it with sheets to protect it. Mine gets morning shade and afternoon sun. The first year I kept it watered pretty well or it would collapse.

An Endless Summer is supposed to bloom on new as well as old wood. You aren't supposed to have to worry about late spring freezes. Our garden experts here in the southeast are saying that Penny Mac and Mini Penny are better than Endless Summer. The other two from the Endless folks, Blushing Bride and Twist and Shout, are also good.

There are some tips on the Endless Summer website about scarce blooming. They say that you shouldn't cut them down to the ground like an Annabelle because that will delay the blooming until the new wood is fully grown.

I heard many good qualities abt Invincibelle if they prove to be true, I'd go for her!

I have ES & a good producer of blooms now, aft 6 years in p/s exposure & can also alter her pink color to assorted pastels ... 'had to move her around in 1st yr to find the rt exposure ... Blushing Bride (a cousin) has stronger limbs & a wonder for me! ES has to have support for her slimmer canes.

Endless Summer should be a reliable rebloomer for your area but it has a tendency to wilt, especially in sun. Invincibelle Spirit does better in sun than in shade - so I would choose the plant based on the amount of sun your plants will get. Both are good plants. Invincibelle is a Hydrangea arborescens so it is going to bloom every year. You would be happy with both plants if you can find the right spot for each.
