Al Sulfate good to add for all Hydrangea?

I am going to be planting four hydrangea. Limelight, Tickled Pink, VAnilla Strawberry and Endless Summer Bella Anna. I bought some Ammonium Sulfate because the person at the nursery said that the Bella Anna would turn Blue if I added it. When I did a little research I see that it won't turn blue. Should I return the Ammonium Sulfate or should I add a little to the soil of each hydrangea when I am planting it? I have good loam soil with city compost added. Thanks Vicky
