It is a very new introduction, only receiving a patent last year. It is a sport of 'Schneeball', which translates into 'snowball', so that would be indicative of a white flowered mophead. The big feature is the very dark, nearly black stems, which would seem to offer a stunning contrast with the pure white flowers.

If you like it, get it......the price seems reasonable :-) Will need winter protection in zones lower than 6.
