The best way to 'dwarficize' is to circumcise it.

Tickled Pink is considered a dwarf for Paniculata. I highly recommend it.

I hard pruned my Quick Fires this yeay for the first time. I have hard pruned years before to my Limelights with great success. I get large huge blooms only a week or so behind other Limelights in the area.

Quick fire is a different story! It is still developing its buds right now. Probably will not be in full bloom for another month!! The two years previous I only did very light pruning for the most part and they bloomed 6 weeks or better before the Limelights. The Limelights have been in full bloom for a couple of weeks now for me. Also the QF still got 6' x 6'. Did not seem to slow it down it's size at all. Never again will it be hard pruned.

Pink Diamonds respond very well to a hard pruning for many years now also. Huge blooms and seem to bloom earlier than if not hard pruned.

Pinky Winky was it's first year for a hard pruning. Seems to be putting off huge blooms and containing it's size, but defentily slowed the bloom time a little worse than the Limelight. It will not be pruned as hard next year, although I will not be gentle either...LoL....

The new Vanilla Strawberry will flop if hard pruned.

Sounds like Tickled Pink may be my solution. Can anyone tell me where I can buy it in TN or online?
