What variety is this?

Hi guys. I keep getting asked what type of hydrangea I have and I just don't know. Maybe you guys can help me out? We bought our house in 2008 and this hydrangea was on the property and well established. I know it is a lacecap and purple/violet in color. Here are some photos taken about a month ago.

Looks like 'Blaumeise'. Depending on your soil here in the Seattle area, this deep blue lacecap will have a purple cast. Stunning plant........one of the best lacecaps IMO.

Thank you! A quick google search seems to back up your assessment. I have four hydrangeas and so far this one is my fave. I also have a powder blue mophead right next to the lacecap pictured above and two Vanilla Strawberry H's. They do so great in my garden.
