Very nice, lsimms. May I ask, how long do your blooms last on your ESs? I was reading a post from several people who complained about their ES blooms browning fast but no one could confirm if that was due to not enough water. Do you experience that problem?

Also, what is the plant growing on top of the fence? It seems to be some kind of climber maybe. or not. I would prune that one instead of the hydrangeas. I like their "I am happy to be in this location" look. Very healthy and dark green foliage too. If you deahead now, will you get a chance at more blooms this season?

I just came back from "visiting" a few nurseries. That is what I call it when I spend $10 or less (or none). Most nurseries here look bleak right now. Lots of empty space. But lots of 30-50% off sales. Would have bought a Limelight or Crape Myrtles but, eeeehhhh, not at full price.

Look at these plants, would you say anything bad about them? We are talking glorious growth...in my absence.

The top are Wisteria, Amethyst Falls. And there are blooms on it as I speak. wow.

lsimms, they look great! Very lush and healthy! Now, do NOT prune them now, otherwise, you will cut away the buds for next year too!

My ES (all 3 of them) are also big, but not as tall as yours! Mine are about 5 feet tall already and GROWING! Hmm... maybe they will reward me with more blooms then next year!? LOL
