I like it also because I can sometimes get a decent flowering from it in my zone 5/6. I think it's nicer looking in the shade than in the sun. And it's interesting to watch it go from it's whitish tones to its fall reddish tones.

I grow Preziosa in a large pot and overwinter it in my garage. It is stunning in flower--every day seems to bring a different shade of color somewhere on the plant. The stems often have a rich reddish color to them, too. And the stems are sturdy enough to support the weight of the large pompoms without drooping. Right now, most of the clusters are a dark reddish color, but as hayseedman's photos show, you can get every color from white, to bluish lavender, to pink, to red during the season. I love it.

Yes, I really have to have one of those. Besides, it looks like it will be easier to find than a Forever and Ever Red, which of course the local Lowes does not carry.
