Huge hydrangeas falling over

canadianbug

I am a pretty amateur gardener, and I have a whole bunch of white hydrangeas at the front of my house, they are beautiful, but enormous. They get to be at least 4 and a half to 5 feet tall, and as soon as we get a heavy rain, they fall over. I have tried cutting them right down to the ground, but they continue to grow bigger every year. They need to be split and moved, I think but I am unsure what to do with them. Once they fall over the blooms stay green and turn to brown without blooming.

thanks in advance for any advice!
