| In zone 9, taking cuttings now should be fine.......hydrangeas are about the easiest woody plant to grow from cuttings. I've done late summer cuttings before and they've done fine. The milder the climate the better :-) You just want them to root properly before any really cold weather sets in. The attached link should help - its pretty specific in its details. |
