Slim hydrangea

I'm just getting interested in hydrangeas and realize that most grow as wide as tall. This would be wonderful if I could use them along a tree line like I was planning until I found out that deer really love them and I have major problems with deer in my daylilies. I came up with another plan to use a couple of hydranges in with other plants as a foundation planting but I really need them to be slimmer than tall. Maybe 5-7 feet and no more than 4 feet wide. I have looked at lots of hydrangea growers online and get more confused everytime I look. Can any of you hydrangea collectors help me. I'm not too particular about other characterics other than they need to be in partial shade.

I really hope you can help.
