Thats awesome thanks for posting it. If it ever stops rainind I am goind to go out and cut some to bring in. I didn,t know they were fragrant. I will have to pm a friend I gave one to as a house warming and let her know as well.

Mines not fragrant at all. Hopefully it will be when the buds fully open.

Mine isn't either ... I went down to sniff again, the new clusters she produced (soon as the temps came down) ... no gift of lovely scent either ... no matter, she is such a beautiful little lady this 2nd season!!!

She is in f/s exposure & lime color didn't last very long but she is turning green once more, at this point & lovely next to Tardiva changing to pink!!!

The scent might be more detectable late at night. I passed by a garden with an incredibly delicate and pleasant scent near midnight and looked around for the source of the scent. I think it’s the blooming limelight hydrangeas as thee were no other flowers around.

Yeah, early in the mornings (6-8am) is good too. Specially on non-windy, cloudy mornings.Of course, it too depends on one's nose. My mother could not detect scent from roses!
