I have a group of Hydrangea 'Limelight' shrubs that I am considering removing and replacing with 'Little Lime.' Would prefer to not have to go this route, but even with an annual pruning to 3-4 feet, my 'Limelights' still seem to reach up to 8 feet or more by the end of summer. I'd much rather have something that would max out at 5-6 feet without having to do a lot of pruning to try to control size. I really love my 'Limelights'...just wish they were a bit smaller. Any thoughts my replacement idea? or any easier solution or pruning methods? Thanks.
