Now (zone 5 MA) a medium sized hydrangea with flowers that have turned and are turning deep, deep purplish red. Def. not an oakleaf. It appears to be a mophead. The leaves are turning too. Can't do better than this because I'm driving in the car when I see them.

They are to die for, but not in a car crash.
