I failed to winter protect my Glowing Amber and several lacecaps

I failed to winter protect my Glowing Amber and several lacecaps before our first snow. I been so busy with my twins toddlers. Well, we got our first snow on Monday and last night the temp dropped to 20 degrees. Should I even bother trying with winter protection this weekend or forget about it?

They should be fine if it only fell to 20 degrees but winter protect before it gets any colder to protect the blooms for next year.

Also any branches covered by snow will be protected from colder air temps but once the snow melts they will be subject to the same air temps as anything above the height of the snow.
