Well I must say this system is great at geminating passiflora seeds they tuff to get started and in 7 days with this system most have sprouted but now I wanted to try the cherry tomatos the seed kit was $19.00 which I think is way to high when I got home I opened the box to find I only got 3 bio seed pods the otheres were place holders so each plant cost me over $6.00 a plant sad.The best thing I can tell anyone is the system is great and worth the $149 I paided for it but the kits are way to high Im ganna try my hand at store bought seeds .Anyone have this system and used there own seeds before that can fill me on on what works best for ya also pic would be great.

YES I CURRENTLY GROW MY OWN SEED I BROUGHT SOME ORGANIC SPONGES PLACE THE SEEDS IN ORGANICS SPONGES AND LET THEM SPROUT ITS A VERY GREAT UNIT.... THE MASTER KIT COMES WITH THE SEEDS AND PODS AND NUTRIENTS WHICH I DON'T USE SAVING THEM FOR A RAINY DAY THO....

I ALSO JUST BROUGHT THE SEED TRAY WHICH I'M NOW REPLACE MY BIO DOME GREMANTION STATION WITH THE AEROGARDEN.....

RE: aero grow system

WOW! You paid $150 for yours? I paid only $100 for mine, plus $20 shipping, and they gave me two kits for half price and no tax! I just got the new 'AeroGrow3', the NEW design compact unit, with only 3 grow holes. It cost $99. Plus I paid for 2 day shipping. I could have gotten it for free...but I wanted it fast. They sent an Herb Kit with the unit. I ordered the Mountain Meadow kit....so they sent that to me for free...now I have both and I am growing the Mountain Meadow one.

I got the same surprise in my tomato kit. But considering it is going to take up to six months to finish growing them,$19 isn't all that much. And on EBay they are cheaper. I just sold 6 kits of different ones for $12.99...I had 9 kits. I now have 3 left. As it is, I have to wait another 5 months till I can plant 2 of those. My tomatos are growing like weeds! I am trying to find out which side shoots I am suppose to pinch out, I topped off the plants at 5 weeks, last week. And the side shoots are all over the place. I cant wait till this holiday, MLK day is over! And AeroGrow reopens and I can call and ask someone which ones to pinch out, and which ones to take out. Or leave them all. I have no idea. They are getting huge!
