I like the dry nutes. They are cheap and work good. Basically all the nutes are is a combo of P-K-N. You need to switch this for veg and flowering stages so you have to buy 2 types anyway. 3 part general hydroponics liquid is the gold standard but is 3 parts kinda a pain to mix and the nutes lock up if you mix them together. Google maxigro and maxibloom they are simple cheap and work perfect. The right balance of p-k-n and the maxi type nutes are kinda hard to screw up. Then if your new remember low low low low ppm low nutes at first.

What have you grown with the maxigro and bloom?Was thinking of liquid earth because it was only two parts to mix.I'm planing on growing tomatoes ,cukes and peppers.Can you tell me what ppm you get when using the one teaspoon(or tablespoon) per gallon they say to use?

I grow tomatoes,green beans, basil, herbs, eggplant and peppers. It is kinda strong 1 and 1/2 teaspoon in 5 gallons give a rough ppm of 400. I never follow the box as it will give nute burn fast way to high. 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon per 5 gallon for seedlings. Small plants 1 and 1/2 teaspoon. Stuff lasts a long time. Liquid earth is what around $22 per pint the maxi dry is less than that for 4 lbs which about 100 times more product. Paying for the liquid earth you might as well go to whole foods and buy organic produce. With the maxi line my led lights and R/O water. I am running on penny's now.

I use Gen Hydro 3-part mix and have for a long time because it works.

How about a link to some decent prices on LED lighting.

haha cheap led's are on ebay but then you get e-bay quality. Look at spending at least 500$$ for a good set-up. My lights are off right now as they are going to exhange more blue less red in the spectrum.

htgsupply seems to also have the cheapest led lighting that i have seen offered
