I picked up a large 12" long air stone and a pump with 4 ports and a dial to adjust the amount of air.

How often should i run the pump?
How much bubbles should i look for?

I will be using a floating raft system in a plastic storage container and i will be growing lettuce for my first attempt at hydroponics.

I have lettuce in a raft float. You need the pump on 24/7. I have one 8 inch air stone running off of one Elite 801 brand air pump. The lettuce is doing great.
