Hi,
Thanks again for all your help in the past.
I am planning a big strawberry grow this summer, my first. Got some questions and would really appreciate some advice. My goal is to max out on number of plants, and I think that long runs of pvc setup as an nft is the way to go for output and easy of admin.
Pump issues aside, I will run two so if one goes . . . what do you think of my setup up, anything more productive and still as easy?
Whats the min. diameter pvc I can get away with (e.g., 2")?
Whats the min. I can space the plants from each other - soil seems to suggest 12", I'd like to go closer if possible. I plan to grow day neutral/everbearing?
Will I run into o2 depletion issues if I have 24ft runs - the res will be aerated?
I am ordering bareroot plants, and I have never before, can they just get put right into the pvc or do I need to plan on some kind of incubation?
Any insight is appreciated, thank you.
