Best strains for hydroponics?

| I am planning on starting some tomatoes, peppers and lettuce in my ebb & flow system, and was wondering what strains would be best suited for hydroponic production.
Thank you in advance for your input! |

| If you're willing to pay 35 cents a frickin' seed there are specialized hydroponics seeds that you can buy. I'm too cheap to try them (they come in $35 100 seed packs), but I CAN say that the fairly cheap Better Girl/Early Girl tomatoes grow like crazy under hydroponics and 400W MH. |

| anything that grows in dirt will grow equally well in hydroponics. just pick varieties you like. |

Early girls are what I grew last fall. no problems there. If you need a compact plant, look for ones that are 'determinate'. I also grew bells with no problems (well other than my own) |
