What is "hot" weather?

| As the subject states, what temp. range are we talking about when the variety of lettuce says "hot weather tolerant" or "excellent tolerance in hot weather"? |

| or anyone has any experience growing heat tolerant varieties, and what temperatures did you grow them in with? |

| The most heat-tolerant varieties of lettuce are “Loose-leaf” and “Darwin” lettuce and these are the open head varieties. |
