The Dark Garden: Should I....Or Shouldn't I

BIG MAX PUMPKINS These are doing well. I mean for the limiting eviromental factors. Question is do I want to keep them growing and make Little Big Max pumpkins. It gives me such a tickle to think. 0ne pound or five?

I mean really i was just looking for the best way to germinate the seeds for the enviroment I was going to grow them in. I think it's because they got their first flower buds. Their still a nice looking little vine tho. My first completely hydroponic pumpkin...The Little Max. That's worth a smile ain't it.

It's just short of two months. It gets a squrit of fertilizer every three days around the top. I top off the container every few days with water. As far as the fertilizer go's I may have to start every two days.

The first flower on the Big Max Pumpkin vines is female. Now I find no record of this being the norm. I've got no record of female flowers showing for the first 10' feet. It would be interesting that an abberation of growing this way was early female flowers. But I got no saved pollen. No male flowers to use. that's something I hadn't considered.
