Hi.

As we all know plants need carbon in order to live. They get from the air from CO2. In aquarium there are also used fertilizers like Flourish Excel and EasyCarbo, that contain carbon source. It's not CO2 but it replaces it.

Is there any use to use them in hydroponics? Will it have the same effect as on aquatic plants?

Plants get their carbon from the air, not from the soil. Carbon in soil is important for retaining water, stabilizing, retaining nutrients, and buffering against pH changes. In hydroponics, you're doing all of that stuff manually.
