Flood and drain table experiment (Peppers and Lettuce)

Here are some pics of a new experiment I'm working on. It's a flood and drain table, with 11 varieties of peppers(20 total) and 5 varieties of lettuce(24 total). The peppers are grown in a 50/50 mix of coco coir and silica stone. The net baskets sit on top of a 1/4" coco mat, where the roots will eventually grow under. The lettuce are grown in net pots, with hydroton clay balls for a medium. They sit in a 2" styrofoam raft that sits on top of the reservoir. The roots will grow directly into the water. The reservoir has 4 air stones, aerating the water at all times. The nutrient line I'm using is Botanicare CNS-17 Coco (Grow,Bloom and Ripe). I'm also using Aquashield for added beneficial bacteria. It's going to be interesting to see if I can balance the nutrients to grow both crops. Right now the PH is 5.9 and the nutrient level is 1.25 EC or 625ppm.
