Does your drip system use a ring? How large is the ring compared to the spread of the roots on the plants? Is the ring so large that the solution is dripping too far fron the roots?

That's just a thought.

Also, when I have had doubts about the viability of a seedling that started out in soil, I put it into my aeroponic garden and let it develope a bit then once the roots start really growing, I transfer it into the drip system. I realize that everyone doesn't have this option but if you do it works great.

Are you using both those nutrients at the same time? If so and at those concentrations it may be too much for the young plants. You should start with the grow and then not full strength for a seedling, about 1/2 strength should be ok and boost it up as the plant grows. When it shows sign of wanting to bloom, change to the big bloom.

thank you for the advice. pretty much what i had assumed. i am using a drip ring and have already moved it so it drips closer to the plants but it seems to still miss the root system.
i dont have an aeroponic system, but could i put it in my DWC system to establish the roots, then transfer??

as far as nutrients i was following the amounts suggested on the bottle and at the store. i will make a weaker solution and see if that works. thank you!

Yep, one should always start off seeds, seedlings, and transplants on a weak nutrient solution as a full strength can burn the roots (which need time to recover after transplanting.)

I don't know much about your nutrients but I agree with the other posters that it should be weak to start. DWC should work fine also. There are many ways to end up with good results. Many people get great results without the extra step I suggested. I just feel like the more roots it has when I transplant it the more margin for error I have if I slip up.
