Hey everyone, would peat moss work as well as coconut coir?

I believe coir is more fiberous and thus sticks together better. you run peat through a few wet dry cycles and half of it will be circulating through your system.

The tiered stacks made me start thinking. I have seen them commercially but not yet tried to make any of them on my own. Lettuce would probably grow very well ona roundy round spiral. Maybe 4 inch vertical pipe with the cups stuck in at an angle. Maybe Ill try to make out soem plans.

Good luck with your project.
