My First Hydroponic Tomato

I just harvested my first hydroponically grown tomato.
I was about the size of a large lemon.
Patio Bush. Vine ripened color redish orange. Texture firm.
The meat was very tasty not a "water ball" by any means.
One thing that I did not like was the taste of the skin.
It tasted kind of strong.
I was concerned that all this effort could turn out badly.
All in all, an excellent first effort if I do say so myself.

| Haha! I also received my first ever hydro tomato yesterday, grown under artificial lights. Sadly, I don't eat the things, but the wife said it tasted as good as any garden tomato. Woohoo! Grats, dripguy. |

Fantastic! I'm growing mine on the patio in natural light. The things grow like crazy but they take a while to turn. Longer than I thought they would. After my first started to turn and rippen several more are now turning. I had several types and they may have cross polinated cuz some of them look kind of funky. |
