Here you go! I would say that this is a medium/large head of lettuce. It is a Butterhead lettuce type

Tom Thumb on the left, Tennis ball on the right. Both are miniature varieties. They are just about done. I started eating some last night. I just put the net basket into a solo cup of water, and the lettuce sits on my kitchen counter. A live plant is as fresh as it gets.

Very nice! It looks like the tennis ball is doing better than tom thumb. But I like the color of the tom thumb. Did they form a loose head cole?

QUESTION

How far apart are your Net pots or what is the spacing???

Thanks. Both of them are fairly loose. I was incorrect in the earlier post, Tom Thumb is the darker variety on the right.

My spacing is 6 inches, but that's because these are miniature lettuce varieties. For typical lettuce, you would need 12 inch spacing.
