| I'm just about ready to get started with my 1st hydro set up. I am only going to grow a few chilli plants and was wondering if 6500k compact florescent bulbs from HD would be enough to grow 2 chilli plants. I was thinking of using maybe 3 or 4 if necessary. |

| YES. I have been using 6500K and 3000K. When i use the 3000K bulb on plants i notice blooming within 2 days. When i use the 6500K i get lusher greens and slower growth. It could be in my head, but i did have a 1 foot cucumber with 5 flowers, i thought that was early. These lights may not be strong enough for good tomato development or fast growth |
