Aquarium pH vs General Hydroponics pH

is there any difference in these 2? the general hydroponics version is a ton of pH up and pH down but doesnt give exact directions like 2 drops per gallon or something like that. it just says to use sparingly to bring pH up or down. its about 16oz of each in the general hydroponics bottles. compared to the 1-2oz bottles of typical aquarium product it seems like a hell of a lot!

I don't know about aquariums but in hydro when you have alot of nutrients mixed in your rez they buffer the pH so you require more pH down/up as the EC rises.

If you pH up/down RO water a drop will swing 50 gallons easily a point or so.. but if it's at EC 2.0 you will be adding 5 - 10 ml before you see an appreciable difference.

Just a guess.
