I spoke to Tim Carpenter the owner of vertigro hydroponics company in Florida. I just ask him some general questions about the five basic setup types that most people use. I asked him about the whole N.F.T. method. He said On large scales as far as commercially that method has many severe drawbacks to it. He said that it's really only good for growing the live bibb lettuce. Most of the problems come from the recycling of the water. If one plant gets a "cold" they all get it not to mention all of the nutrient water having major flucuations in ph and lots of other bad stuff. People would be surprised how nice all of those guys are at those major hydro supplier companies. Michael Christian and that Resh guy. I spoke to them and they were very understanding and willing to listen to what you had to say.
