I am noticing BER on some of the tomatoes. There are 7 types of tomatoÃ¯Â¿Â½s but am wondering if some varieties are not doing well for a specific reason? IN the system I have zucchini, tomato, peppers, eggplant and cucumbers. For the most part things are growing well, but am wondering if I can push the nutes. Will I eliminate all the BER if I bump up the nutes? The micro and calplex are both calciumÃ¯Â¿Â½s just scared of burning them all out

Side note these plants had been through some issues. Had an insect problem and hit them hard with sparys and systemic remedies. Had huge fluxes in temp from day time high to night time lows. Just had record breaking heat. Still producing well I think will post photos in the a.m.

What is the Ph in your system?
Ph will influence calcium uptake.

what does the 12/12 mean? how often are you watering the medium?
also, what brand nutrients are you using?

are you making 40 gallons of nutrient or 10 gallons?

you may be underfertilizing them. I don't know about the cal plex or bud candy, but you're nutrient is only 80% of what is recommended.
also if your timing is 12 hours on and 12 hours off, and you have really high temperatures or humidity, they may be going through too extreme a moisture fluctuation.
Is it possible to set the dripper to cycle say on 15 minutes, off one hour or on one hour off 4? that would help your plants keep a more even moisture level which helps with BER.
