I have been using bio bizz grow liquid and I'm not doing so well with it...my local store told me that these don't contain salts so there is no need to test ppm? Does anyone know if these is true?

Biobizz is an organic fertilizer so it would be derived from ingredients like earthworm castings rather than salts. Since that kind of stuff is going be made up by large organic molecules they won't reliably influence the conductivity of a nutrient solution and consequently a TDS meter won't be of much use for that reason.

Organic fertilizers can be a challenge for hydroponics since the plant first needs microbes to break down these large organic molecules into smaller, more readily usable, compounds. If I were to use organics hydroponically I would probably give it a shot via drip irrigation and using a coco substrate, along with inoculating the coco with some beneficial microbes.
