I'm having some issues with my borage in the aerogarden... I've devoted two grow pods to them and both are growing slowly. The new leaves are brown and crusty--I'm not giving them too many nutrients because I didn't even put any nutrients in for this two weeks. I'm thinking they must be getting too much "sun" light and they're burning. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Or is it something else?

Also, the seeds came with these tiny 1/10th of a dime size beetles. I found the larvae crawling around inside the seed when I removed it from the plant and now I have the little white with black spot beetles flying around my room. Is that causing th problem? What are they? I haven't seen them eating any of my plants--no holes in the leaves or anything. I do keep finding them flying around the plants though... Even after I thought I killed them all there will be another one.
