fish-pond aeroponics with a hanging PVC pipe 'living wall'

Does anyone have a setup like this?

A black fish-pond in the GH (with fish and water plants in it) to gather heat during the day and release it at night.

A pump and spray system to circulate water from that fish-tank to the vertical hanging PVC-pipe 'living wall'.

The water sprays into the pipes that have holes with plants inserted into them, where it wets the roots and runs back into the fish-tank.

The plants grow on the nutrients from the fish-poo and other nutrients in the water.

This is a highly successful system on a very large scale, and I am hoping it will also be on a smaller scale.

What I need to figure out is

how many plants will survive on the nutrients in a fish tank of a given size. Maybe the number of actual fish and water plants I would need to support one PVC plant?

are there any hidden challenges I don't know about?

I'd really like to find someone who had done this.

any thoughts?
