Hello everyone

Im reasearching at the moment on tropical lettuce formulas for starting my raft trials in Oktober in the Philippines.

In the books nd in the www i found several formulas

3 of them use in the Solution B Monopotassium Phosphate, in slightly diffrent concentracions.
In one of the formulas i found ( The Resh Formula for Hydroponic Lettuce Production under tropical Conditions) instead of Monopotassium phosphate Monopotassium Nitrate is used.

Can somebody explain me the diffrence nd which one is better to use?

Can anybody provide me a tropical lettuce Formula he/she uses with succes to add to my trials?

I will test 35 diffrent varieties of lettuce with as much as possible diffrent formulas..

Thanks for ur help

Greets Tom

RE: Nutrient Question

Hello Tom,
Mono potassium phosphate supplies potassium & Phosphorus.
Nitrogen must come from another source in this formula.
