could you post pictures? I'm not sure I understand how a fogger needs a pump. is it a fogger or a mister?

Another solution would be to put a valve on the end of the supply line that returned back to the reservoir. then you could open or close the valve to control the volume that flows through the fogger heads.

I don't have photos yet, I will get some. It's a Nutramist fogger. My idea was a valve on the supply line too, but I don't want to deadhead the pump or burn it out by limiting the output. What valve has a return on it?

If I understand correctly, the pump is to run an EnF system (in conjunction with the fogger). If that is so, put a T joint in the line between the pump and the flood tray. one line into the flood tray, the other line recirculates back into the reservoir. you put a valve on the recircultating line so you can open and close it to adjust the flow going up to the flood tray. your output is not limited just directed in two directions to control the flow.
If I'm mistaken, please let me know where the pump comes into play.

correct, the pump just fills the chamber for the fogger. this is not an E&F system yet.
