As for a pump, you really need to share more specific information on your particular setup.

If you are using standard drip heads, the pump will have to be strong enough to lift the nutrient out of the sump and pressurize the drip system. These systems usually run at around 15 psi to function correctly. Wherever you buy your drip heads and emitters, there should be some information on pressure.

If you are doing NFT, you need a pump that will run a "trickle" of nutrient down the tubes and into a reservoir on a scheduled basis using a timer.

A lot depends on the "head height". Every pump has a given head height, meaning it will pump only so high. As long as your pump will deliver a "trickle" of nutrient from your tank to your troughs and have a gravity return, that's as big as you need.

best pump made is little giant it will out last and out
perform all the above hands down.

the little giant nk-2 would serve your system very well,
it cost about $105.00 but it will outlast all the above
at least 3 to 1.
