Brown roots

I have seen this posted on this forum before I think, but in my DWC some roots are brown, ironically the plants appear healthy.
I did change the nutrient solution and I see a few white roots showing through.

I think I read somewhere to about a 24 litre reservoir add 2/3 drops of chlorine bleach.

Can some one reply if this is correct.
