Good luck. There has got to be thousands of bags of the original Hydroton hidden away in people's dusty storages.

Caveat emptor on eBay, I have no relation to that seller, it just came up in a search, trying to be helpful in case you hadn't checked. Several are on Amazon but if you look at the comments, they show the pic of the authentic brand but reviews almost always say it is generic currently manufactured LECA material just not from the now defunct Easy Green operation's quarry.

Thanks for the tip. I was also wondering whether the e-bay seller's claims are legitimate. I don't suppose there's anyway to verify/confirm them. The seller will not respond to inquiries.
